WELCOME TO BOER GOAT CERTIFIED!

My name is Gavin Tindle. I have been raising Boer goats since 2015. During this time, I have been able to learn a great deal about the Boer goat breed and goat meat. Two of the things that I have learned in the goat industry is that goat meat is really hard to find and that the Boer goat is a type of meat goat that is consider to have the highest quality of goat meat in the world.

Once I decided that I wanted to add goat meat to my diet, due to the fact that goat meat is very healthy, I started thinking about ways I could harvest some of my animals for myself. However, as I was explaining to people what I was doing, I kept getting asked if I knew where others could find goat meat. That was when I decided to give those who would like to eat goat meat a source for high quality Boer goat meat.

ABOUT  BOER  GOATS

The Boer goat was developed by Dutch farmers in South Africa in the early 1900s. They were brought to the United States in 1993. The American Boer Goat Association (ABGA) was founded that same year.

A unique breed, it is popular for its amazing meat production. The Boer goat has a rapid growth rate, excellent carcass qualities and is highly adaptive to different environments. Docile and highly fertile, these traits set the Boer goat apart in the purebred and commercial segments of the American meat goat industry.
